Following the footsteps of The Great King Ashoka, who built 84,000 stupas, the Gagan Malik foundation wants to revive Buddhism in India, which was started by Bodhisattva Dr B R Ambedkar in 1956. So, it is like completing the dream of Dr Ambedkar by distributing 84,000 Buddha’s statues in Viharas, Buddhist Viharas, in meditation centre and to the individuals, and it is a belief like one’s the Buddha will reach, Dhamma will definitely follow. So, it is a great effort to create awareness for the teachings of the Buddha in India, which will definitely make this society and a country a better place to live in, and the main objective of this Dhamma is to bring all the religions together and so that we can together work for the betterment of the society. This statue is a great symbol of love, peace and compassion.
