Gagan Malik, known for his portrayal of Prince Siddhartha in Sri Siddhartha Gautama, has embraced a spiritual path through Buddhism, even ordaining as a monk in Thailand. His journey deepened his commitment to spreading Buddha's teachings globally, earning him honors like the World Peace Grand Award and Asoka Award.
He also founded the Gagan Malik Foundation, which aims to revive Buddhism in India by distributing 84,000 Buddha statues to meditation centers and Viharas. This initiative promotes peace and compassion, continuing the legacy of King Ashoka and Dr. B. R. Ambedkar in spreading the Dhamma.
